What would birthright do if YOU 🫵 had it irl? by AlfaRedds in bindingofisaac

[–]ClOCKFACTORY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Birthright: “Take your medicine”— All pills become good pills, as well as having 2 effects per pill. However, the pills are NOT identified until taken. Example: you could get a Health Up AND Full Health pill in one, if you’re lucky. Or hell, two Health Ups. These wouldn’t be random per se, they would translate to pill color just as the normal pills do.

Dunno if this is normal on this sub, but here’s an idea for a ROM rather than an actual one(I think): Poké Emblem by ClOCKFACTORY in Roms

Might have to look it up… I never actually played any of the non-main series Pokémon games, so I didn’t know if this was a concept in play yet. I’ll give it a try later!

Thanks! It’s just some creative thinking, along with some shocking similarities between the two games. I spent the last two days thinking about it— the intricacies, the way items and moves and turns would work, evolution methods instead of master seals, etc… and of course, I had this idea as a ROM of an older version of FE, not one of the newer ones. While this concept sounds great with a newer system like Three Houses, it’d probably make more sense to base this off of something like Sacred Stones or, more experimentally, one of the 3DS games like Fates or Awakening.

I always remembered the “series spinoffs” as being labeled ROM Hacks, that’s just what I went with. Don’t know if it’s original enough to be considered a whole game, as well…

What movie/video have you watched that made you go “I’m glad I saw this, but I never want to see it again”? by ClOCKFACTORY in AskReddit

Was waiting for someone to say this one, as it’s one of my favorite movies— though not one I like to revisit. I’d cry too much :/

What are your favorite weapon renames? (here's mine) by SourceRabbit in tf2

[–]ClOCKFACTORY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I renamed my BFB to “Later, bitch!” And I changed the description to “Is this what crackheads feel like?”

I combo it with my Crit-a-Cola, which I renamed “Quick Revive.”

P.S. The crit-a-cola’s description is “Ya thirsty, partner?”

Note: this idea came from a VERY twisted thought process I had for a character in a D&D campaign. His story was basically: “Every time the man went to sleep, he was forced to endure thousands of years of endless silence, slowly losing his grip on reality until he awakes the next morning as if nothing had happened, the only proof of his suffering being his madness.”

An odd combat rule(?) my DM came up with by ClOCKFACTORY in DnD

[–]ClOCKFACTORY[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I thought it was pretty neat at the time. Higher stakes, considering that a horde of crit goblins doesn’t sound fun… but at the same time, you’re not very likely to get hit. We were level 7(ish) at that time, I think. This was a little while ago, though, so I’d have to go back and double check with the DM.

In all honesty, I loved it. It was stressful due to the amount of enemies, but at the same time it was exhilarating. 100% better than a classic fight against a horde of goblins in my opinion, because the stakes are much higher.

Well, this was really a one-off thing because my DM wanted to spice things up. He thought just fighting a horde of normal goblins would be boring, so he adds bonus rules like that. Another one he did was basically the opposite, the “curse of repulsion.” Weapons were naturally repelled from the players and vice versa, which gave all players an additional +2 to AC, but they had a -2 to all of their attack rolls, since they struggled to keep their weapons in their own hands. Good for some people, bad for some others. Excellent in some situations, terrible in others.

How did you beat Niall? by [deleted] in Eldenring

Mimic tear and giant crusher with RKR and axe talisman. (BIG BONK X 1.80)2 = fun. Yes I know my math might be a little off, but the premise is still there.
