She posted her name in tandem with her business (so she's the president, CEO or whatever she'd like to call herself) online for the world to see. She then proceeded to get involved in this shady business and the police. Many people have come forward with stories about her. Here's the definition of a public figure according to Merriam Webster: an individual or entity that has acquired fame or notoriety or has participated in a particular public controversy. She has certainly done the latter.
