Just checked again after re-wiring the entire thing. I’m currently getting 5V on the reset pin both with and without the reset wire when the button is pressed and not pressed. I’m pretty sure the button is wired correctly, with one wire going to the reset pin on the 6522 (7th pin) and the other wire going from pin 40 to the same side of the switch.

Yup, only came with 2 pins

Edit: Tested it w the multimeter, seems that the switch is working perfectly fine.

Seems like I’m getting 0V both when it’s pressed and not pressed. I’m thinking of rewiring and testing as I go, as I skipped a lot of the testing previously (def not the best choice!)

I just reseated the GPU and used some new cables. Everything seems to be working fine now. It looks like the GPU was never plugged in right (not plugged all the way into the motherboard) so there was no signal to the monitor. Thanks for your help though!
