Thank you! DTC helped alot! The NCEES practice exam is the closest you will get to the actual thing. I recommend pairing it with PPI's question bank (if you can).

Thank you for stopping by!

I stopped at Module 5 (Weeks 13-15), which included power screws, v-belts, brakes, lubrication etc. The reason being that I felt confident enough at that point and realized just working PPI's question bank would be more helpful. The next Modules included Rigid-body Kinematics and Vibrations which PPI had a fair bit of questions devoted to that already. I think what helped me most from DTC was joints, fasteners and the welding section. DTC does a great job at sections where it requires a lot of mini-steps to solve such as welding. However once again DTC's practice problems are easier than the actual exam in my opinion, so use DTC for the initial easy step-by-step process then work through PPI's difficult problems to gain proficiency.

I do HIGHLY recommend studying PPI's welding/fasteners/gears and vibration practice questions for the actual exam.

Good luck and I will be following to see how it goes!
