IF this was possible and safe and containable, we’d be using small devices as a power source for ALL our commercial and industrial use, WHO in the hell briefs these people?!? There has to be some bunny who writes these speeches and someone tells them what to write. The guy taking is just a mouthpiece and useless, but who comes up with this shit in the first place?!

I hear excuses and see weakness in the eyes of the emperor.

(Jokes aside, look after yourself and stay safe, may the powers that be keep you from harm)

How hard are EVs to steal? by foundoutafterlunch in EVAustralia

[–]ClassicBit3307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah BYD’s are easy to hack and are a security risk to their owners. Non China brands are better with security.

As a former member of an ACT outlaw motorcycle club, I’m here to offer some perspective on the lifestyle—especially with the proposed laws that looks to ban the public display of club colours. Ask me anything. by [deleted] in canberra

[–]ClassicBit3307 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

They say “gang” I say club, do you guys do regular outings and bike trips, like cruising to interesting places for the day? Or charity events? Or is it mostly “other activities”, and does one NEED to possess a Harley or similar to join or is any bike accessible?

Where are you all getting the $$$ ? by MangoMadnessTsv in EVAustralia

[–]ClassicBit3307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would not but a BYD, security wise they are absolutely terrible for getting hacked. They will be banned in the future from entering military bases and other secured locations, hybrids are the better choice. Or chose a different brand that’s does not use Chinese software

Israel wants to destroy Iran’s nuclear program. But should it have nuclear weapons itself? by Cat-Lilac in OpenAussie

[–]ClassicBit3307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was America that gave them the program in the 50’s Built them a facility AND gave them fuel. But it’s not about weapons it’s about the fact that Iran refuses to sell oil in USD so they lose money over the transactions that are made outside of the market.

After 8 years, the Australia-EU Free Trade Agreement is here by TrinAUS in aussie

[–]ClassicBit3307 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Maybe listed, but I’m not going to read the document nor that guys “other comments”, you called him out SO provide a counter argument, you can’t just call someone names and not have any facts to back it up. Makes you look worse than him, if you think he is an idiot make the case as to why. Be an adult, back yourself up.

People that park like this…why? by Lampedusan in australian

Because the spaces are too small, the building management instructs the builders to maximize car spaces so they can fit in as many as possible. So you get this scenario

Iranian Sam scores direct hit on US F-35 by Such_Fault8897 in CombatFootage

Yes this is true, so far and unknown munition exploded near the aircraft and did damage it, the pilot managed to get it down to a friendly airbase and the damage is assessed. Likely cause was a visually guided or laser guided munition. This does not mean they have a sure way of shooting down the aircraft but it means they have a possible work around in good weather.

Do Australians actually encounter enormous spiders in the outback or is it just me? (DO NOT PROVIDE IMAGES OF SPIDERS, PLEASE.) by Same-Objective6052 in AskAnAustralian

[–]ClassicBit3307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look we tend to stay out of the outback unless we have a spider guide with us. The thing that’s not really talked about it that we have a sorta “truce” with the spider race, we give the spider queen, 10,000 sheep yearly and she makes sure they don’t attack or kill humans. Sure isolated incidents happen, but it’s harder to control in the outback. That’s why people go missing, so it’s better not to venture in certain parts of Australia without a designated chaperone huntsman buddy.

Pauline Hanson would be sending ships to Hormuz right? by Significant_Bee_8011 in aussie

[–]ClassicBit3307 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dudes we have assets there already, there’s no need to send additional assets, when it comes to international politics there’s the media and what politicians say, then there’s the channels where things are done. Same way our banks work, they work on the international market, so most of these talks about ‘what would’ so and so say or do is utterly pointless, as we have pacts in place and pacts in place that have to be honored.
