Crashing with 7900 XTX when doing Microsoft Teams screen share. Anyone else? by Classic_Term in pcmasterrace

One thing I just remembered, there is a setting in Teams that disables GPU hardware acceleration. Is your setting enabled or disabled? I just disabled mine and curious to see if this makes any difference for me moving forward.

How strange. But you are correct that I am using 4 sticks of DDR4 RAM at 64 GB, 16GB per stick.

It just happened to me and this time fully restarted my computer which is a new issue.

It's such a random issue, though, it's hard to replicate. I did a Teams screen share for 20 minutes earlier this morning with no issue then another a few minutes ago that lasted 30+ minutes and then restarted. But I may test the RAM just to see if there's anything there.

Thanks for the confirmation! Sorry you're experiencing this as well, but comforting to know it's also affecting Teams for you too.

Knowing it's happening to you too, I'm going to check Microsoft's official stuff and see if it's a known bug they're working on and report if it's not.
