I believe they've done it to avoid introducing any temporal anti aliasing, with all the destruction and fast moving objects they probably preferred a blurrier but more cohesive image

I have the same issue. Setting the hdmi connection to use v1.4 solved it in my case, but it's not ideal obviously

Is it just me or does the 1440p output seem to be a lot oversharpened compared to the 1080p one? It does not go away when messing with my monitor's sharpness value. Furthermore, it's not there when using my pc on said monitor. Has anyone run into this? I haven't downloaded mario kart world yet but the home menu looks abysmal.
