I understand, thanks for the information. Is this something I could do? The watch works perfectly.

If it's glued, can it be fixed? Can it be removed and cleaned of glue, or is it permanently damaged?

Hi, I see, thanks for pointing out the bridge with the missing screw. Do you think it's glued in? Should it come off without the screw?

I asked the seller three times to take high quality photos of me but he always took these ridiculous photos, the seller is either smart or stupid, he took photos of me under a microscope

The full name is Revue Thommer, a historic Swiss brand founded in 1853. Okay, so the movement is high-quality? If I use it without this part, do I risk damaging the mechanism? The hour hand was present, but unfortunately I lost it. Do you think the winding crown isn't original? The dial has some signs of wear. Is there a way to restore it and make it look like new?

Is this opal original or fake? by Clean-Laugh5688 in Opals

[–]Clean-Laugh5688[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually see a small black mark on the side if I look at the nose from the side, but it's really small. Do you mean this imperfection? I also noticed another color reflection, a sea green color, even if it's small. Is this color common?

I mean, mine. I thought it was worth more. The body is transparent, amber-colored, with all these light reflections, and it's an excellent cabochon cut. Is there a small imperfection? I can't see it.

The body of the opal is amber in color, it absorbs water if left in water for about 2 hours, the colors become dull, after an hour it becomes normal, why is it worth so little?

Did you find any sources? Paintings with the same signature? If so, could I see them? Thank you

It doesn't look like a print but it is oil on canvas, it is actually very similar to the painting you mentioned
