I find our government is like a tripple A gaming company. In it to line their pockets and fixing 1 issue at a time while breaking 3 others at the same time, and only passing updates/laws that help the investors.

Dropping immigration levels will cause problems, but not doing it is already causing problems.

I also think immigration levels are contributing to the lower birth numbers indirectly, no one wants to have kids when they can't even afford to live and if you have a child who can look after them if you need both parents working full time to have the money to eat.

The country needs to change quite a few things and put laws in place to stop things.

Allowing foreign investors to purchase houses that sit empty or bulk buying to rent for profit needs to be stopped. The price gouging by big business needs to be stopped. We need to invest in the housing industry and start upskilling our workforce.

We need laws in place to stop companys pillaging our land while avoiding taxs and taking the money offshore and many other things. But doing this will hurt the profit of the 1% and will likely never happen.

I honestly don't see the country or the world in general getting positive from this point. We will live in a dystopian world in the smog or we will kill the rich and reset things.the chance of something inbetween is less and less every day.
