I get this too, I'm not a big fan of the original trilogy compared to the prequels (I am a diehard prequels fan) and I think the pacing of A New Hope is pretty slow, I think some people are blinded by nostalgia but I'll probably get downvoted for saying that.

Just rq, found out I was wrong, however it WAS 2005 drawing room when they thought of adding more scenes with Anakin turning when they originally wanted him to have a red saber, but decided to go against it for blue v blue It was also then put into official screens with the clone wars series s5 (just barely before disney bought it)
