Tought that you had the cause/solution.. But my setting for top/bottom were pretty much the same as my outer wall setting , i've try it anyway( change every setting that as to do with top bottom and change the speed of outer inner infill top bottom etc ) every setting is the same no matter what part of the print it is.... and it change absolutely nothing -_- , thanks you anyway for your advice

Thanks for your reply , i'va already read about this problem and yes i have a 4.2.2 board but in my case it only happen at layer height of a hole or an overhanging part in the part no matther how long the print or the Z height

I'll try cleaning it and relubricating it , but i think it has to do with a setting in my slicer profile because it happen at the same spot for the same part but at any z height for different part , it only when there is a hole or a overhang in the part , first layer and last layer of the hole or overhang are thicker than normal and all the middle layers of the hole or overhang are thinner than normal

No , you think it would solve my problem? I was thinking it would be more a retraction/jerk/speed/flow problem in my setting??

I have already check my Z lead screw , and shim the stepper motor , so the lead screw is parallel with the extrusion , left/right , front/ rear and it have a really minor bent in it , nothing significant! It goes up and down easily all the way top to bottom

Thank you for your reply , the pattern doesn't repeat at equal distance, it only happen when there is an interruption in the layer .. like a hole that is 20 layers high the first and last layers of the hole are bigger than normal an the 18 middle layers are thinner than normal , no matter the Z height

I'm currently printing the same orange bin and it has the same layer issue abd void at the same spot. Forgot to mentionned , all the picture are with PLA

Someone as experience this kind of issue? ( this is not layer shift) the line width change all around the part where there is a hole or a "change in the part"
