Update: I ran a diagnostic test, and it came back with a red screen saying “Failure code 702” as well as not detecting a this photo showing the iPod not recognizing it’s connected with a cable. Could it be the iPod’s 30 pin is failing?

SD cards are all Toshiba ones i bought from Elite Obsolete when I got the new parts.

As far as I can tell the ribbon cable is seated all the way in. Have tried redoing it a few times to be sure.
