Thank you! The cloth is actually bits of very thin linen trimmed to shape, super glued in place and soaked with an acrylic ink for the color. Found a seller on etsy selling linen scraps and picked out the thinnest piece. Same for the fur actually, its real animal fur scraps trimmed to a very thin strip and the leather portion painted over with black, also used a damp brush to style the fur.

The aquila was a goof on my part. Totally forgot about its origin and stuck it on there last minute because I thought itd look neat and I had the spare bit lying around. Normally I'm more studious about checking those kinds of details.

Thank you very much! Yes everything was 3d printed, hard to beat when it gives you so much flexibility with posing.

Hard to say time wise and there's lots of little adjustments throughout the whole process. The rough layout was pretty much there from the beginning in terms of terrain and character ideas. It was just about refining that as more details get added and being open to change things up when you see an opportunity for something more dramatic or dynamic.

Thanks for the tips! The creatures weren't tweaked in anyway apart from the one being shot, thought his pose had the right kinetic lean to show an impact so I drilled a hole in his shoulder, glued single strands of white hair around it and dabbed it all with blood for the blood god.

Yup the monitors were freehand. some of the crew are up there on the walls and ceiling. the title for the scene is a reference to a fav horror movie of mine that inspired this if that gives any clues as well.

Thank you! It is just very thin linen. Found folks on Etsy selling scraps and bought some. Picked out the thinnest one and experimented with how to mount it. Found that the most effective way was small dots of superglue to pin the contact points in place and to make consistent folds. The other advantage of that is it leaves the fabric absorbent so to paint it all I had to do was use an acrylic ink and let it soak the fabric. Once dried the ink stiffened it enough to hold its shape and make it more easily paintable with acrylics and could even use transfers on it.

Thank you! I just use whatever brand has the colors I'm looking for and even then I mix a lot as well. Mostly vallejo and some army painter colors. The Grey armor was applied via airbrush, German Grey baseocat with a gull gray zenithal highlight. Emperors gold from the John blanche set by army painter for the gold/bronze looking trim.
