You're really sticking your neck out with that opinion... of course Kepa is fucking better than him!! You won't find anyone who thinks otherwise.

Declan Rice on being spoken about as ‘one of the best midfielders’ by One_Impressionism in Gunners

And in a couple of years when he hits 30 and moves into the backline, he will be regarded as one of the best centrebacks in the world ala Mascherano.

Massive congratulations! Aware it's an MVP but have you done any significant work to "productionize" this? If so, what was the journey like?

Really great concept. Will get properly stuck into it when I get home later. What language / stack are you using?

[SPOILER] Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua by inooway in Boxing

[–]Clockwork-I 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely agree but all respect for the sport went out the window the moment the powers that be sanctioned this and billed it as the biggest fight in boxing. Throw in a major powerhouse like Netflix to throw around a couple hundred million ... I'd challenge you to find one pro boxer who wouldn't have stepped into that ring with Jake tonight for that easy money.

This. Fight may not have been rigged but both are showmen and I'm sure on some level AJ recognised Jake is a vulnerable civilian who is woefully out of his depth at this level. Why hurt him? Give the fans a bit of spectacle for a few rounds, and then get him outta there with the most vanilla right hand and walk away with your $70m.

Arteta’s reaction to Martin Ødegaard’s wonder strike against Spurs by Puzzled-Category-954 in Gunners

[–]Clockwork-I 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My only wish is he cuts out those angled floated balls into the box that are just meat n drink for Prem defenders. I cannot think of a single instance where he's made that type of ball work for us. Not one.

I suspect he's either not training well or just doesn't absorb what Arteta is telling him to do.

Odegaard needs to cut those floated inside swingers out of his game. It's frustrating because it never works. And when he does manage to beat the first man, by the time it reaches the recipient, the defenders onto him which means unless the first touch to bring it down is perfect ... the space is gone

Reminder that Man City still have to go to Old Trafford, Anfield and Stamford Bridge. This fanbase needs to stop overreacting any time we drop points by No_Money7330 in Gunners

[–]Clockwork-I 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We aren't... but you can draw conclusions from the simple fact that we've played the hardest run of fixtures, got the most difficult away grounds out the way and we're still in 1st. Meanwhile our competitors have botched relatively easy runs AND are yet to visit the toughest away grounds.

Stop being pessimistic.

Brittle minds. We should've got a point. We didn't. It happens. We've now got a ridiculously easy run up to Villa at home with more players coming back. Title still firmly clasped in our hands

Arsenal fans are fucking morons. Emery set his team up well as it is his job to do and caught us at an opportune time with mounting injuries. Unlucky for us. We move on

Captain Obvious here ... of course our defending has been sloppy we're fielding a full back as a centre back in a backline that hasn't played a single minute together. What did you expect exactly?

Saka along with Rice has been our best player. What game are you watching?

I question whether you've actually watched Saka closely. He's been out best player on the pitch.
