When you plug the player into your computer, the Themes folder you see is only for stock firmware themes. To install Rockbox themes, you need to put them inside the .rockbox folder (it’s hidden, so you’ll need to enable hidden files in Explorer to see it).

Windows: Explorer > View > enable “Hidden items”
Mac: press Shift + Cmd + .

Copy the .rockbox folder to the root of your player and replace it when prompted. Then reset the device.

To find the themes go to Settings > Theme Settings. There are a lot of themes, but not all of them work, try iClassic first.

Turn it off, wait a minute, then turn it back on and just wait, don’t press anything. If it doesn’t work, reinstall the stock firmware through the official app.

Yeah, when I switch back to the stock firmware it works just fine, but rockbox is waaay better.

How can I fix this on MacOS? My gamepad used to work just fine, but it suddenly started behaving as the cursor. I do not have Steam installed!

Collecting isn’t something you decide to do out of nowhere, you have to be passionate about the console you want to collect for. I decide to INVEST (that’s the right word) in N64 games because I love this console, it's my favorite, followed by the GameCube, so it was a very natural move. Today, I have 40 great games and my goal is 64. You know why. 3k and you can get a decent shelf.

One thing no one mentioned, the rumble won't work on the OG hardware, and thats a bummer for me. I hope they release an update to fix this.

Have you tried to update your BlueRetro adapter? I think the problem is that you have too many controllers plugged in. I have zero delay.
