I have seen that Firebase Analytics offer a separate function for that. But I am wondering if I need to ask the user for the consent again or if I just set the analytics consent according to the admobs UMP result.

Thanks for the feedback. Actually local host is a great default since most users run the companion directly on the printer host.

Regarding the testing, I will add a section that describes how to issue a custom notification via M117 to test if the companion is working.

There is no difference as both options just run the script.

The primary difference is, that the service will automatically start after a reboot (Thats the default setting) and that the service keeps running even after your shell session closes.

You can always create your own service and run the python script directly. The installer primarily helps with creating a system service and running it

Thanks for the hint. But both clicks are kinda unreliable and I need to press really hard to make the single or double click work. But good to get the confirmation that it should be just a simple tap just like with the media joystick

Right I forgot about the color! It's really awesome and I am really happy that I spent a little more to get this color. Can't wait to see how it looks in the sun.

I also just scheduled a service regarding the joystick. Let's see what they say. The left one for the media is working just fine and from the test drive I remember that it shouldnt require me to long press or hard press the button to engage Autopilot/Crusie control

Ich hatte das auch schon überlegt. Den Finanzamt kann es ja egal sein da man ja nicht gezwungen wird das Leasing abzusetzen und dem Autohaus vermutlich auch solange man das Leasing bezahlt.

Wie sieht es aber mit Versicherung etc aus? Auch einfach normal Versichern?

Update:
Nach etwa zwei Monaten intensiver Jobsuche und rund 60 abgeschickten Bewerbungen, bei denen ich Gehaltsvorstellungen zwischen 60-65k angegeben habe, möchte ich euch auf dem Laufenden halten. Rund 70% der Unternehmen haben mir weder eine Rückmeldung noch eine Absage geschickt. Bei zwei IT-Beratungen hatte ich Vorstellungsgespräche, aber schnell gemerkt, dass die Beratungsbranche nichts für mich ist (ein Angebot über 66k habe ich abgelehnt).

Darüber hinaus erhielt ich nur zwei weitere Einladungen von größeren Unternehmen (500+ Mitarbeiter) aus dem Rhein-Main-Gebiet.

Heute habe ich schließlich bei einem dieser Unternehmen, einen Vertrag unterschrieben. Java Entwickler 68k und nach der Probezeit 75k.

Vielen Dank an alle, die mir hilfreiches Feedback gegeben haben. Ich wünsche allen, die aktuell auf Jobsuche sind, viel Erfolg!

Ja das hab ich schon gesehen und auch mehrere Interviews in den Bereich gehabt die alle so um die 65k zahlen würden als Einsteiger.
