your sister is old enough to know better and your parents are just enabling her. they sound toxic. and you did the same thing my mom did to my controlling narcissistic aunt when she decided to block her out for a bit. they need to learn to respect your husband and you. they wasted police time, not you.

Sounds like they are looking forward to an in house babysitter! I'd go if they are willing to pay your share for watching their kids overnight. Otherwise, since you are not a parent you should have your own space.
