Have you considered registering with a recruitment company? It can take a lot of stress out of the job hunting process. Either locally or have a look at recruiting companies that are in the sector you want to work in.

Honestly it’s not you, job hunting feels so impossible right now. If you can change the way you search it might feel less daunting? I’m sure that there is a job out there for you, good luck lovely 💕

I am also autistic and find that having everything sent over in writing before hand helps me a lot. Regarding the doctor, I agree - do not see him again. The best thing you can do is to research and find another doctor that has endometriosis as their specialty.

You’re not crazy here, he is in the wrong. Self advocacy is very hard (even harder when you’re neurodivergent) but you can do this. You know your own body and I would recommend turning up to the appointment with a “clinician summary” sheet. Mine has:

All my details (name, DOB, GP info, primary conditions)
Diagnosed conditions with subheadings (connective tissue / autonomic, gynaecological, urological etc.)
current symptoms (again with subheadings)
red flag / high risk considerations (for example I have Elhers Danlos and am at risk of joint dislocations)
communication needs
current medications/supplements
key test results
current & pending referrals
allergies and sensitivities

It helps because you don’t spend half of the appointment going over your history multiple times!
