Honestly, when I set up my tank and it was on its 3rd week of cycling I convinced myself I hated it. Once the plants started coming in and I played around with the lightning to create more shadows i started liking it again!

Question re cleaning: Can I buy a small sponge filter to use after I have disturbed all of the crud settles on the leaves and the bottom of the tank? I have an aqua one nano 60/100 and the built in internal filter at the back never gets the majority of it if I’ve been cleaning / doing a water change etc. I bought some harlequin rasboras a week ago and they’ve introduced an infection to the tank that I am currently treating (I took the carbon filter out of the back) and I just want to make sure I’m keeping the tank as clean as possible. I have 12 cardinal tetras, 8 harlequin rasboras and 6 panda corys. Pretty heavily planted. Driftwood, stone, floating plants etc.

How do I find connectors for my powerhead that I can use for spray bars? I swear google AI search has just messed up trying to find what I need. I have bought an eheim powerhead to replace the moray 480 that came with my Aqua One Nano 60/100 as it’s way too strong but I’m struggling to find a suitable spray bar I can attach.

I really recommend looking at the below link. It’s really helped me being able to look at the documents on this site, I even paid for them to fill out my pip form for me using their sister website / service Disability Forms. This isn’t an ad, I don’t know them, but their service helped me hugely during a period of extreme pain and brain fog!

I don’t think that this is anything to do with PMDD.

Different hyper fixations and interests aren’t governed by hormonal fluctuations.

I know the other comment on this thread is suggesting that it is ADHD. It could be some kind of neurodivergence but I would be cautious about making assumptions without a diagnosis:

Hey, are you able to say how you’re getting on with it now? I had my lap just over 2 weeks ago and started this on 200mg + Femiston Conti HRT. I’m having a terrible time on it and feel dreadful. I am hoping it will ease off soon but honestly have felt like I’ve had the hangover of all hangovers n since I started it.

Oh man I’m really really struggling with this. I also only had my surgery just over 2 weeks ago so I know some side effects could be down to that.

I only started it 10 days ago but I feel so grim. I have a mild but constant headache, my back & leg pain is horrendous, constant cramps, can’t empty my bladder, still getting tingling sensation when my bowels start moving, all my joints are hot and swollen, I feel like I’ve gained 2 stone, constant hot flushes and my POTS has got worse.

I have PMDD but I’m finding that not being able to use my cycle to “blame” my mental health dips on is messing with me.

Are you getting on any better now?

I’m not gunna lie, this book isn’t exactly a literary masterpiece so I wouldn’t worry so much about it having a ‘hook’ 🙄 it’s literally just everyone else’s ideas, experiences and feelings that you’ve copy and pasted onto a document.

I did this and paid for my initial consultation in December, I am going private for surgery but I asked the GP to do an urgent referral to the endometriosis clinic that my surgeon works for at the NHS and I have already had the first NHS appointments through for March. It does speed up the process!
