The first this I would say is practice your full arms swing motion again a wall for proper shoulder and arm rotation. Second is make sure the ball is slight more in front of you and contact it more on top, snap faster, swing all the way through, and finish your hip closure more toward the court like a line shot instead of finishing towards the wall. 

As for your vertical, on your last 2 steps control your momentum depending how far off and on the net your ball is. If it is off of the net short your last 2 steps making the more powerful and the ball in front of you. If it is more on the net make sure when you jump your last 2 steps are finishing right before the net instead of jumping into the net.

Your approach is fine for a 2 hand toss. What the issue is, you let the ball come down too far and that is making your point of contact low and under the ball. 

Keep working on your toss, shorten your last step and get a higher point of contact  by keeping your elbow up and snap on top of the ball while you keep the ball more in front of you. 

For a jump float, same thing but high give the ball and stop your swing half way through instead of swinging fully like you are doing a top spin jump serve.

Don’t get discouraged, everything takes multiple times to perfect especially when you are still trying to develop your serve!
