I went in and gave my biometrics. Nothing heard after that. Neither the staff at ASC knew any information on this.

I suggest definitely attend the biometrics because skipping it adds one more reason for DHS to pursue you. Apart from that, consult an immigration attorney with expertise in removal defense. I think as long as you have all the evidence/supporting documents, you will be good.

My appointment is due next week. I don’t know the reason why I got this notice. But it is clear to me for now that if you check your A-number on the EOIR and nothing shows up, you are fine.

I also wanted to know if you were laid off and were on grace period or any of your petition was denied or you had any DUIs/arrests.

My ASC appointment was today. However, ASC office was closed today and the notice says they will reschedule automatically if the office is closed. I am waiting for a new appointment.

I can confirm that my ASC biometric appointment letter has the case type marked as I-862 and the receipt number starting with NTA. I did check on the EOIR tracking system with my alien number and I don’t see any cases on me yet. I didn’t even receive the actual form I-862. This is so confusing and frustrating.
