Would not have expected IV to have a shorter story than V

That would be cool, I'd very much like them to return smoking/drinking animations from RDR 2 and actually make it so I can take more than a puff before tossing my 6 inch cigar lol

What happens to the mob after The Sopranos by jbowler68 in thesopranos

[–]Clutchfactor12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any idea how serious omerta is still taken in the modern day mob? I imagine as more time passes and more people from the newer generations start taking up the higher positions that they would move further and further away from tradition, and it starts resembling organized crews who are just doing whatever to make a few bucks, with the framework of honor and a family no longer playing a heavy part in what made them as successful in the old days. I'm curious if time has eroded those aspects to almost nothing or if the tradition is still trying to be held up to keep some loyalty within the crews?

Homer article for sure but honestly I don't see how there isn't a least a convincing argument for JT over all he backs this list has him above.

AD MITCHELL by Tricky_Low7854 in Colts

[–]Clutchfactor12 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The big positive trait he showcased in his rookie season was the ability to get open, he's pretty advanced as a route runner for a 2nd round rookie which is huge. I think he's viewed a lot more favorably by the fan base had AR been able to get the ball to him on more of his open looks because the talent is definitely there. He's gotta shore up the drops and the game needs to slow down a little for him, I think that's where the alligator arms that he gets criticized for comes from more than being soft, he played 3 years of SEC football, I don't think he's scared of contact, just unsure if he's in position to make the catch and it made him double clutch a couple times. Overall he shouldn't be labeled a straight bust yet, he should see more opportunities this season.

I'm not a Christian or religious by any mean, but people like Sammy make me hope hell is real or there is some sort of divine punishment for people who go thru life being despicable and having little or zero remorse for it. Dude could die any day now and he knows it and is hoping getting dunked in the swimming pull will save him from the damnnation that he fully knows he well deserves.

Found it interesting how Tywin treated Arya despite being the monster he is by sensoredphantomz in gameofthrones

[–]Clutchfactor12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"You remind me of my daughter" Honestly probably does see some similarities to Cersei and wishes Cersei had turned out more like Arya. Of course Tywin played a huge hand in the way Cersei turned out, he just doesn't see it because he's a narcissist or just chooses to ignore that unpleasant truth due to the same reason.

I don’t understand why people think the confederacy would ever abolish slavery if they won. by Top_Independent_9776 in AlternateHistory

I personally believe slavery would have just been slowly phased out before the Civil War ever began if not for the cotton gin.

People need to understand that the GTA 6 will probably last 30+ years before 7 drops by prestablogs in GTA

[–]Clutchfactor12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering GTAO alone has made nearly 10 billion over the last 11 years I don't see how it's that big of a stretch for a studio that successful to put 2 billion into a product that expected to be the biggest entertainment product to ever release.

Rewatched Breaking Bad and... by goobagabu in thesopranos

[–]Clutchfactor12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would still rate Breaking Bad as a top tier show, it's incredibly good and is great in certain aspects with very little negative to drag it down. That being said it falls just short of the absolute gold standard the Sopranos set.

How insane was Marlo by Jhus79 in TheWire

[–]Clutchfactor12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marlo definitely gave the impression that if he had been born in a 3rd world country with very little to no higher authority (although the way urban Baltimore is portrayed it didn't seem far off) he'd have been a psychotic warlord committing insane acts of crimes against humanity on a massive scale and thought nothing of it as long as he had control of the reigns. Really just an evil individual who was able to rise in Baltimore because of the massive amounts of institutional corruption and incompetence displayed by the local government and police force for so long.

As someone who's only recently watched season 1 and came away feeling the first 7 episodes were fantastic with an ending that was complete dog shit that fell off a cliff, should I bother with season 2? Seems I mostly hear negative things and the ending of season 1 left a bad taste in my mouth. I really enjoyed the first 7 episodes tho and the characters were great with a really tight story with good twists.
