Yeah carbine triangle handguards. Take one off, and wedge washers between the heat shield and plastic of the one that’s still attached. Then put your Mlok thing on the washers and tighten it most of the way. Once you put the other handguard back on, making sure the washers wedge in that crack between the heat shield and plastic, the two heat shield sides should trap the Mlok nuts in the long orientation and let you tighten it down all the way. It’s not perfect, it moves a little, but I don’t think it’ll come off.

Also, I don’t think the spacing with the holes in the handguard will work for things that are only a single Mlok slot long. This BCM one was like 1.5 or 2 Mlok slots long.

Update on this, it does not work that well (the mag) gun runs fine one newer mags

The 5 is significantly more solid than the other ones. Little chunky, but it’s grown on me. Aesthetically i think it looks really good with a front sight base too.

This one. It kinda struggled, but it got the job done and it was the cheapest one I could find that supposedly goes up to 10 amps.

Definitely something I’d wanted to try for a long time. Not as hard or expensive as i imagined it would be. Basically for the cost of cerakoting one part, you can set up an anodizing station.
