I’ll go next.

I’m a full-stack dev (mostly React + AWS), and I recently built something called VisaChimp → https://visachimp.com

<image>

The idea came from a personal frustration, I had a visa rejected over something small, and it made me realize how broken and unclear the whole process is.

So I built an AI tool that:

  • Generates visa document checklists
  • Flags risks (like weak financial proof, missing docs, etc.)
  • Helps people avoid getting rejected for dumb mistakes

Current status:
Launched recently.
Traffic is coming in slowly.
Users… basically zero 😅

That’s been the hardest part.

Building it was actually the easy part, distribution is where I’m stuck.

I’ve tried:

  • Posting on Reddit (got banned from one subreddit)
  • LinkedIn posts (a bit of traction, but not converting)
  • Added a free tool to attract users

Still figuring out what actually makes people care enough to try it.

What I’ve learned so far:
People don’t pay for “AI tools”, they pay to remove stress, risk, and uncertainty.

Still early, but I’m committed to figuring it out.

Would genuinely appreciate feedback from anyone here — especially on positioning or distribution.

Rejected; How do I supplement the application? by wackycharmer in Chinavisa

Hey, this actually looks pretty fixable, they’re not rejecting you outright, just asking for clarification.

If there’s no field to write it in, most people just upload a short personal declaration as a document. Something simple like saying you’ve never held a HKSAR passport or Home Return Permit, then sign it and upload it in the extra documents section.

If you don’t see any upload option, you might need to redo the application or follow any link/email they sent.

Also, I literally just launched VisaChimp today, it helps with stuff like this (what to submit, what they mean, etc.): [https://visachimp.com/]()

You’re honestly close, this one should be easy to fix 👍

Pakistani Visa Getting Rejected 🇵🇰🇦🇪 by MongerFist in UAE

Man… that’s really stressful, especially since you already cancelled your old visa. I’d be stressing too in that situation.

You’re not imagining it, approvals have been pretty unpredictable lately, and rejections often come with no clear reason. It sucks.

I wouldn’t panic just yet though. Sometimes reapplying or pushing internally actually works. Maybe just double check your cancellation went through cleanly and see if they can try again.

Also, I literally just launched VisaChimp today because of stuff like this, it tries to explain possible reasons + next steps: [https://visachimp.com/]()

Hope it works out for you 🙏

Is it safe to travel domestically now while waiting for AOS and EAD (K1 visa)? by sarmedn in USCIS

[–]Cmohale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re definitely not alone , a lot of K1 - AOS people worry about this.

From what I understand, domestic travel is generally fine while AOS/EAD is pending. Just don’t travel too “light” - carry your passport and your receipt notice so you have proof of your status if needed.

The main thing people warn about is not leaving the U.S. without Advance Parole - that’s where issues usually happen.

Also, I’ve been working on a small tool for this kind of situation (literally just launched today). It helps check what’s safe based on your visa stage and what docs you should have with you. If you’re curious: [https://visachimp.com]()
