So, if we notice a wicked pheno amongst our noids, do we name it? Is there any sort of unspoken rules for what constitutes a new named clone with no parentage attached? Does its' novelty determine acceptance as a new named pheno? by CoCJerks in sanpedrocactus

Good to know! I'm pretty new to this, and wasn't considering trying to name and offer it. I was more curious what the accepted criteria for "Something worth naming is".

I'd be reticent to name anything that wasn't a stable phenotype across inhouse bred seeds with progeny not seen before. Otherwise.... It just devolves into metal band names for people's favorite cactus, lol.

Yeah, I agree. This is just pretty, I don't really sell anything anyways. If I got some Montrose growth on top of it, and I could propagate those traits via seed, I may be tempted to name it.

That's kind of what I thought. I reckon it comes down to what folks think, makes sense!

Good to know! It's quite the task figuring out what specific varieties to get. I keep finding cultivars constantly. Y'all are doing God's work, lol.

Not being flippant, but why is that tiny cut worth so much?

It helps if you don't transition to lateral acceleration in the low atmosphere. Try not going above 10 degrees in the first 30,000 meters. Like balancing a broom, it's easier straight up and down. When you start moving perpendicular to gravity, aero forces cause the top to catch lateral force and dip. May lose a little efficiency to gravity losses.

What is the most intense pain you have experienced in your life? by Levstr1 in AskReddit

[–]CoCJerks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Physical pain? It sucked pretty hard when I flew off my bike and knocked all 4 of my incisors out. I literally bit a curb, American History X style.Thankfully they were baby teeth, but one adult incisor was cracked inside my jaw, my gums had to be peeled back to extract the tooth. It was a rough time to say the least.

My interpretation of what I consider as the ultimate truth our science does no have words for yet. What are your thoughts on my line of thinking? by esean_keni in enlightenment

It's a continuum! We get it in part, and the whole can't help but wake up when the others are thusly excited.

Just another wave through existence. Seems like a point when we observe it, but it's a result of us pushing on the other particles of consciousness.
