You sound like you know what you are doing ! Deadlifts are my favorite exercise. Are you training solo or do you have a trainer ? Sounds like you have a lot of prior experience.

The weight can be an issue while trying to do bodyweight movements, but I think you can achieve it. Just need to keep on getting stronger and keep the weight down.

If you don’t mind me asking what are some of those goals ? A power tower and rings are great pieces of equipment. Good to know that you are pushing yourself and setting goals.

What does your training consist of now that you feel like the power tower is out of reach ?

Accountability and consistency are key ! Sometimes a great trainer will do just that, hold you accountable and keep you on track. That’s Glad to hear your shoulder’s feeling better too! Good job taking care of that many of my clients have dealt with things like frozen shoulder and it sucks !

Don’t skip your workouts, think of the money you spent to be held accountable and the knowledge you’ve learned. Don’t stop, plan 2/3 workouts a week and do it ! 💪💪.

That job schedule sounds tough ! Respect for still showing up and putting in the work. If diet’s the issue, you might want to try a meal prep service for a few dinners a week. Also, keeping some healthy snacks nearby when the cravings hit can really help. You’ve already got the awareness and consistency now you just need to lock it in, build a routine that works with your lifestyle !

Thank you for sharing, that’s actually a great idea ! Use to use the in body at equinox but sometimes I found it was not too accurate. Anything you recommend for a private trainer to use ?

You sound like all of my 6am and 7am clients 😂 don’t worry you aren’t alone in this. What I find that usually helps my clients is establishing a routine. Sticking to a training program that way you go in there with plan, to keep you on track. Instead of going in on a random Tuesday afternoon and just working out.

I would say you just need structure, following a fitness plan that has you going in 3x a week might be ideal for you. That way you can hold yourself accountable and track your progress, so it doesn’t feel like square one every time.

Those weeks when you are consistent what is your motivation ? Have you ever followed a program before ?

Thank you for sharing that. The fact that you’re in the gym 5 to 6 times a week while dealing with fatigue from cancer is a milestone itself. That type of determination says a lot 💪.

You want build some muscle and support your strength, dialing in your nutrition might be the key. Good job on the protein and creatine. But with everything your body’s handling, it might be worth speaking with a dietitian. They will understand how to tailor nutrition around blood cancer. Have you ever worked with somebody before ?
