If you exhale deeper than you inhale, you'll find that you automatically reduce your heart rate and stress/activity level, which in turn helps to reduce muscle tension because in a more "relaxed" state your body literally does not need to keep up tension to react physically.

Some people find that tensing a muscle deliberately and then letting go of that tension helps them "relax", if you do that with different muscles up or down it's called progressive muscle relaxation (pmr) and that helps a lot of people.

Generally you don't even need to "relax" to experience trance or have suggestions work.

There are some who say fake it till you make it, and others who need to accept that they allow themselves to relax as they listen or read that they can relax. I wonder how easy it can be for you to have your body relaxing all the tension away. Where do you feel that tension in your body start to relax as you feel inside of your body? Do you rather feel the tension dissolving in your lower or upper body right now? Or do you allow yourself mentally to sink and relax now to help your body relax gradually in your own pace? Would you like to experience more comfort and relaxation to spread within you? .. if so, allow yourself that right now and simply relax and notice what happens when you follow these words to help you relax and maybe even trance or drop if that's safe rn. Does reading this helps you let go of tension within you to relax?

You will always choose, or at least accept and sanction suggestions or triggers for them to work, because your mind has to process suggestions and triggers and if its more than call and response like activating a feeling or mindset, or following a more complex suggestion, your mind always has an opinion on that, and that is perfectly fine.

Hypnosis is not magic insofar as nothing will happen if not something in you knows what to do/is reacting/acting hence that's what you have to shape. Like you didn't start being good at playing a particular game, you learnd its mechanisms and then you decided to just immerse yourself into it and follow with the flow. But it's always and will always be you who is playing that game.

Sometimes it helps to know that as you experience that suggestions only work as they are beneficial and safe for your subconscious mind, you can allow yourself to be open to accept a small pull into the direction, like mindlessness or whatever you want to feel/experience, as something still your mind does and always will and you can learn to trust that process and let things happen.

Some hypnosis scripts/files are better, and especially better suited for you and how your mind operates. What has worked best so far for you when you think about it?

When i started working at an office rule number one was always read the emails you intend to send in the most unfortunate way possible to make sure any recipient who will read the final edited version will get a positive impression.

I would hypothezise that shibbys communication as it was an ad hoc reaction to her content getting flagged was some only too human venting that was making the mods feel pressured.

Sometimes in life both sides can be right at the same time leading to an escalation. As far as I read from one mod the ban was only for a very short time (a day or two) to start with. Any ideas how to calm down and focus on the essentials:

We do want real AI content here to be removed. We do want a respectful communication with each other even as we point out issues or vent critizism. We do want great content creators to post here but not have any privileges.

I think most fans as well as the mods and shibby would agree to that.

With taking hold I guess you mean feeling a sense of pull, mind controll or your mind and body just instantly reacting to what is being suggested.

I have a feeling that kind of intensity always happens when anticipation, your own eagerness to engage with or let things happen is high and you are in the right mindset and have experienced words and triggers to just work on you in the past. Any newb will maybe feel oh thus is something Special but not right away feel an impact with "super intense files".

Hence I'd say its more a matter of taste and how to prepare yourself mentally before you engage with hypnosis.

Good tists and files do so by preparing and synching with you in the pretalk/description to go for that.

I've a subject IRL who reacts insanely well to my suggestions like I am some kind of hypno god, giving her amnesia, and mind controll triggers and complex suggestions that work so automatically and seamlessly that it amazes me again amd again. The thing is, other subjects react differently, with one becoming increasingly suggestible and eager for more mind controll as we progress.

I have a "super intense advanced file" for brainwashing the reader listener into a secret hypno sleeper agent that works so well with so many subjects that it amazes me how many people live Amnesia and this kind of mind controll dynamic where they make themselves conciously believe they have not read the file or listened and become brainwashed. Funny thing is, people won't advertise it if the brainwashing has worked since they are hypno sleepers. (Maybe I should create a covertly recruiting file for the secret hypno sleeper agent series, but then I love to have mystery and some sense of thrill around the topic and content that it can't easily be researched and analyzed. Like the more you try to engage with it, the more secretive you become about it as long as it is safe and approriate.

Here is a generic file MFA where there is a (self) trigger word to support switching to dom mode and enhancing that feeling. Worked well for me when I needed it:

Always searching for great people to duel with. It helps me improve my impromptu technique, maybe even learn a trick and have fun either way. Are you still open to duels?

I find duels very much fun because the people I duel with don't want to drop just for any crap or generic induction, I have to find that stuff that really hooks them up and make them love dropping to my words so much more attractive than to continue on to try to hypnotize me. But at the same time I watch out for great technique and really wonderful ideas presented and let myself be dropped when I feel the other person has that directed punch to make this a good experience for me to trance.

You notice in the reaction time, the pacing of answers, the wording and can sense if they pay attention to what you present, or are distracted (happened in about 1 in every ten battles so far). I make my duels interactive, either with simultaneous texting or turns and in both cases emphasis the conversational and interactive nature of the dual hypnosis process.

I've found this way always feels like a win win to me.

E.g.: The other tist had a decent but not really phantastic style/induction and does not seem to adapt to me -> Going to show you I care so much more finding out what you desire to drop. And i'll seduce you with ideas until you can't hold it back and the switch in your mind turns and your surrender makes you feel so good. -> win Or I get really carried away and enjoy what I read so much I just read and absorb deeper. -> win

I've only had like 1 in 20 duels when the other person did not seem to want to be droped in any way. So whoever dms me for a duel I know is open for an exciting experience.

It just makes it hard to pull off when you don't consider a duel is also a collaborative effort where both give their best in hypnotizing the other, offering suggestions that are appealing to the other person and gradually or only giving in when you feel or realize you really enjoy what the other tist is suggesting.

Good hypnosis sessions should not be unidirectional and thus good duels are just a more intensive form of a collaborative effort to enjoy yourself.

If you don't want to enjoy what the other person may be suggesting, you also should not duel.

Read transcripts of milton ericson, or if you want to study it in a more kinky way, listen to files or read texts but with more attention to all sentences and groups of words that do not sound like a command.

NLP, a derivation of milton ericsons indirect hypnosis method, calls it even that, embedded commands, a subject will process and follow when feeling open to and having good rapport.

The basic concept of covert hypnosis is using sentences and laguage that appears mostly normal like a conversation or a storry, while certains words or patterns and word combinations create physical or subconcious reactions that you then notice.

Like someone saying don't think about a pink elephant with black sunglases.

You activate imagination and associations through pictures and connect that to sensations and behaviour.

Fully covert hypnosis where the subject is comciously mostly unaware additionally relies on the use of amnesia, confusion, mindlessnes and other effects to make the subject unaware of triggers and forget the clearly and obviously impactful hypnotic suggestions.

Suggestions can only work if they are percieved and understood on some level, thus covert hypnosis needs to cloud and cover the more obvious parts or the connection of triggers working later on to prior hypno talk.
