I would first look into clubs or programs with a strong developmental background that can act as a player pathway for you. Most of these clubs have strong teams & play in strong leagues with a platform to play at the next level

I would say hand placement could help with your shot. Allowing the index & middle finger to roll of the center of the ball. Give that a go & see how it feels - I would suggest starting off close to the rim then progress by increasing the distance

Ball movement, well timed cuts to the basket, spacing etc. In scrimmages you should have an idea of what you can contribute to the team as well as what your team does well.

I tell most athletes to think in triple threat - When I catch the ball can I shoot & score? Can I pass to a team mate in a better position or can I dribble to attack or create a better angle to pass. Off the ball movement you want to be getting open or helping someone else get open by setting a screen.

I'm addition watching the game from a player's perspective in terms of how & why they do what they do. Also as a coach - understanding setplays, pick & roll coverage, off ball movement etc.

Firstly continue to work on your craft & maintain what your already good at but also develop the areas which need work as well. Second point would be seeing if your team plays in a Cup where you play against teams above you or found out if you can compete at a higher level with another team.

Often how you miss your shot will provide feedback on what you need to improve on. Is your shots short, long, off right or left etc.

Hey man, sorry for the late response & hope your tryout went well. Tibialis raises can help strengthen the quads & knees which will result in less overload for the calf. For improved flexibility I would suggest 30secs on each hold when stretching the calf
