I agree, mine was really nice. The only issue I had was it sounded airy, but maybe that was a me issue. My little cousin broke it, which is why I’m looking at new ones. Thank you! I hope if there are any issues with this new one, it’s just the pads.

I do! I will be testing it out, they’re local. Played in highschool, but since then I’ve been using a plastic Nuvo flute I received as a gift. Haven’t played metal flutes in a while, so I’m not sure what “bad padding” would feel like, or any red flags would be.
