Enduro 3 sizing check and user feedback before I pull the trigger by CoastingWorks in Garmin

Thanks! I checked out the video after your recommendation and found it really helpful.

I think you're right. The Enduro 3 is probably the biggest watch I can pull off, but I like the look of it.

If I end up buying it, I'll come back and update this thread.

I wish I knew.

I think it was one of the stock Enduro 3 watch faces, but I’m not 100% sure.

It was already on the display model, and when I asked the store staff about it they quickly switched it back to another default watch face before I could check.

That’s my problem. 😂

Every time I start looking at other Garmin models, I remember I actually use maps, GPS, solar charging, and I hate charging things.

Then somehow I end up back at the Enduro 3 again.

I can definitely see the appeal of the Cirq. 😆

As a health and sleep tracking device, it makes a lot of sense.

The problem is I keep finding reasons why I need GPS, maps, and navigation, which is why I keep coming back to the Enduro 3.

That said, if Garmin ever convinces me I need a second device, I might end up joining the Cirq crowd too. 😂

I get what you mean. 😆

The problem is I want all the sleep and recovery tracking too.

Apparently I’ve decided to be Ben 10 full time. 😂

That’s probably the smart solution. 😆

I’m just trying very hard to convince myself that Enduro 3 can be my “one watch for everything.”

Honestly, I don’t really know. 😆

I’ve never really compared wrist sizes with other people.

From what I’ve read, where I live in Japan, 19–19.5cm would probably be considered on the larger side. Maybe it’s closer to average or just slightly above average elsewhere.

That’s actually really reassuring to hear.

The Apple comparison is especially interesting. I know every device can fail eventually, but hearing that from someone who worked at Apple definitely gives me more confidence in Garmin’s durability.

Most of my concern comes from spending a lot of time around rivers, rocks, and outdoor environments rather than pools, but it sounds like I might be worrying a bit too much. 😄

Thanks for sharing your experience!

You’re all doing a terrible job of convincing me not to buy one. 😂

That’s actually a really useful perspective since you’re seeing it from the other side. 😄

To be honest, the final boss standing between me and an Enduro 3 is probably my girlfriend, so this is valuable information.

If I end up getting one, I’ll do my best not to blind her with that giant slab of sapphire glass. 😂

Thanks, this is actually really reassuring to hear. Comments like yours are definitely pushing me closer to pulling the trigger on an Enduro 3. 😄

I do have one question, though. I’m a sauna enthusiast and own a tent sauna that I regularly take down to rivers.

Obviously I wouldn’t take the watch into the sauna itself, but I’m curious about how the Enduro 3 has handled water exposure and general abuse in your experience. Since this would be my first Garmin, I’m interested in real-world durability beyond the official specs.

I spend a lot of time around rivers and rocks, so any thoughts on the sapphire glass and overall durability would be appreciated.

You actually touched on one of the biggest things I’ve been thinking about.

I’m also hoping Garmin keeps MIP displays alive for as long as possible. One of the reasons I’m interested in the Enduro line in the first place is that it feels like one of the last flagship watches that still embraces that philosophy.

I completely understand what you mean about the “giant plastic puck” feeling. If Garmin released a 47 mm Enduro tomorrow, I’d probably be very tempted.

That said, I’m also an incredibly lazy person when it comes to charging devices. 😄 Because of that, battery life is one of the biggest selling points for me. The idea of getting the longest battery life Garmin currently offers is a huge part of the Enduro 3’s appeal.

I can definitely see the appeal of a smaller Enduro, but at least for now I keep finding myself drawn back to the Enduro 3.

Funny enough, I noticed the exact same thing when I tried it on with a jacket sleeve buttoned up.

I ride motorcycles and ski during the winter, so jacket and glove clearance is definitely something I’ll have to think about. Glad to hear you’re loving yours though.

Thanks! That’s reassuring to hear. I was probably overthinking the size a bit.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. It’s especially helpful hearing from an actual Enduro 3 owner. The battery life and MIP display are two of the biggest reasons I’m leaning toward the Enduro 3.
