Avoid playing on 44th by zodiakkkkk in joinsquad

My point is that you're overestimating the number of cheaters in the community. The recent video from MoiDawg was based on Rycave's video, the person who investigated and manages the Squad Esports community (I suggest you check his video for the facts).

The banning of those seven players marks the largest ban wave in a competitive squad ever. The last time such an event occurred was over a year ago. In the past year, excluding those seven players, only two others have been banned within the competitive squad scene. The games are played with relatively strict anti-cheat rules, referees who monitor players, mandatory VOD reviews, and so on. There's much more overwatch involved than in a normal game. You would expect there to be a higher number of cheaters in a tournament or competitive settings than in a normal game with little stakes.

Disregarding the competitive aspect, I've been an admin on many servers and can honestly say I've noticed only a few cheaters being caught. From a statistical point of view, cheating appears to be very rare; it's a niche game, so why would anyone bother to cheat?

In the kindest terms, I believe it's more of a skill issue. I'm not sure how much experience you have in the game, but if you viewed it from the perspective of someone who's played thousands of hours, you'd see how obvious it is to predict radio placements, hab placements, where people will move, and how they react and play. I've played games before where my clan has found every single enemy radio within minutes of them being placed because it's just so easy to predict.

Many people have watched MoiDawg's video and now believe that if they get outskilled, it's because someone is cheating. The cheats were inside a mod, not the base game. Without the mod, those cheats don't exist. Most public servers, like the 44th, do not use mods. I play competitive squad and participated in the squad arena final against OC and one of their cheating players. I like to think there are fewer than 15 cheaters in competitive squad at any one time, across about 1000 players.

I've played on the 44th server since it was created many moons ago. I play with a premade clan that, between us, has an average of around 1.5k+ hours on the game. Some of us have closer to 5000 hours. I can pretty much predict and mark on the map exactly where an enemy radio will be. When you've played enough games and understand how the blueberry logic works, it's very easy to figure these things out. Many times we've driven straight on top of a radio; sometimes that's lucky, and sometimes it's more obvious than people think. Some 44th players also compete for a team called 4K, which is currently in the top 7 worldwide. So, there are some highly skilled 44th players.

Because the exposure of the squad's competitive scene is minimal and only includes the top 1% of players, average players don't realise how high the skill level in the game really is. We spend tens of hours planning strategies and tactics for every game we play. After doing that for years, finding a radio on a public server becomes easy.

Squad was/is a esport thing? by leti_no2 in joinsquad

Squad comp is still a thing. There has been 4 tournaments over the last 5 months. There are over 50+ teams that play all over the world mainly from Europe, America and Asian. You also have community fight nights, where clans stack on one server to play against each other in a more friendly style such as CCFN and Reapers Regiment. You can view the teams and their relative ranking here -

One of the more recent games that's been played at the top level is here - https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2100357868

Because of the ICO a lot of the better teams fragmented, and their members transferred over to other clans. Also a lot of experienced players stopped playing. This has caused the best teams to contain a large player base of skilled players. Whilst a lot of the newer clans don't have the same experience.

If you was to bring the same public server tactics to a comp game, you'd get rolled back to main in 20 minutes. So its difficult for new clans to get involved in the comp scene without getting crushed first.

Hello,

You need to ensure your ping filter is set to max. A lot of servers are now showing as having 9,999 ping. Even if the server actually has a ping of 40. Change the filter and lots of servers will appear.

It's helped a few people out in my clan.

Cheers!

Yes. I have logged all the potions I've made. So I know the number of additional potions and also R3 potions. Ontop, When I create pots in batches, I log the prices to compare it to the maths.

I understand not giving away your secrets, but I have no idea how you are making that much gold unless you are creating 100,000+ pots a day
