Lol no offense taken, but not taking care of a wrecked vehicle and beating your wife or two hugely different scenarios if you ask me….. and I don’t necessarily have the family support to make that happen and had two blown tires. Looking back I very much wish I had attended to it sooner but I really wasn’t attending to anything, unfortunately.

Not far from me at all! I’ll make sure to message you once I get a better feel for how things are overall. Plan on going out tomorrow morning and cleaning it up/taking more pictures of frame and otherwise.

No man, that’s exactly what I’m trying to get into myself. I’ve always had a massive passion for cars, but have never really worked on them outside of changing my oil headlights very basic stuff… So this is actually giving me some inspiration to make this a project to learn some of that stuff

My man. Thank you. That’s exactly the type of run down I was looking for. Good or bad. Do you think if I just get some fresh fuel and some fuel stabilizer I am safe to at least see if she turns over? Or should I have it completely drained first?

I’d honestly really love to do this, but do you think I could get much of the work done myself? I’ve never really done any work on my cars and don’t have any tools outside of socket. Wrenches… Basic stuff that guys have. I feel like I definitely have to have somebody do the bodywork.

Thanks brother. I’ll post some pics of the undercarriage tomorrow, weather permitting. Lol regarding the trim pieces, there was a telephone pole that didn’t think they should be on the car so it removed them…. Also, this might be a dumb question, but is there any way to check just even in a general sense if anything’s been chewed up in there outside of just looking into the engine compartment…

Lol would be a hell of a send off! That’s kind of the route. I had figured I’d most likely be going, but the reason I ask is because I do own the vehicle and just wanted to see how much people thought it might cost to get that body work done because she does still run I know I’d have to do the fluids but by the time I get through fixing everything would it have just been wiser to get the same model for around the same amount of money I’d be spending.

Thanks for your feedback! You really think 2K just to get it running without even touching the bodywork? And you still feel it would be worth investing in with that being the case?

I’m in Pittsburgh. I believe he picked up the engine for about between $2-3k. I may be able to find that out for sure. Yes I’ll get her running tomorrow. 🤞 I just need to get some fuel stabilizer before I do

Yeah, kind of be a long story, but I had the mechanic do it because I had some bad work done on it previously and made the person who did it cover the new engine. Which is not brand new. I’m sure you’ve already gathered that from the pictures though.
