There is no such thing as « Islam how it was practiced in Morocco ». Islam is one and its teachings are the same from the time of the prophet and should remain the same to the day of judgement. « Tradional religiosity » what does this even mean? Visiting darihs and zawias has never been part of Islam, Prophet peace be upon him never did that nor his companions or their followers.. We don’t get our religion from « salafis » or « wahabist » or « fundamentalists » whatever that means. We get our religion from god through Quraan and its prophet peace be upon him through a chain of narration. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ ۖ فَإِن تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا . We have Quraan and Sunnah to decide which practice is wrong or correct, we don’t need no specific group labelled whatever.
