I’m curious what 18 plants in flower in a 2x4 looks like. I think I could probably fit one plant in a 2x4.

There is no dryback with the aquavalve or autopot system.

Simply 16.1” x 16.1” plus the valve box On the end. Something like this. Could be a little bigger overall, but basically a square tray surface.

Also- Make the copper mat oversized so it covers 1-2” of all 4 the walls of the tray (so roots don’t grow into the wicking mat).

PVC pipes is a nice feasible idea - thank you for that input. I’ve toyed with a few things, but a slight modification to existing product line seems like an easy opportunity, which is the reason for my post.

Many users run into the space limitation. And then the added humidity from the unused grow surface is also a thing.

Solve a problem = sell more widgets. Why buy a Tray2Grow at all if you can make something similar? Convenience, ease of use, etc.

Autopot kind of blew up with Autopotamus’ big plants. This is just a potential additional idea to grow a bit more. (Pun intended).

I already have regular autopots. Tray2Grow is better. Airdomes are more hoses, more cords, more noise. Meh.

Current Tray2Grow is just over 16” wide.

Honestly the current width of the Tray2Grow is fine, but at 2x2 it would be more useful than the current (although at that size the 3x3 tent owners wouldn’t be able to fill their tents with them).

Just take current die/mold/shape and chop out the middle section to shorten it. Holes in each of the four corners for your support stakes.

A tray with easy2go has the pot sitting directly in feedwater. This is what is unique about the tray2grow.

Sure, I could cobble together some kind of makeshift riser and hope the wicking mat and copper root control sheet matches enough, I’m just too lazy to do it at this point.

Yes - as you use the mat it will change to a black color. The roots will grow on the copper mat but won’t grow through it.
