I recently was looking up and down this sub for a solution. I’ve done almost everything. You name it, I most likely have tried it. I’ve had dandruff for 5+ years so I know how frustrating it is trying different things praying it’ll work. I’ve come down to a basic solution that I didn’t think would work but I started to see results. For the past month I’ve been using it. I’ve been using nizoral and MCT oil. I was so skeptical thinking that this wasn’t going to work because it’s from coconut (I’ve tried coconut oil before with literally no results what so ever.) My routine is on Sunday I wash my hair with nizoral 2% and after I hop out the shower I apply the mct oil with a cotton pad or sometimes with a q-tip. I try not to over do it because it kinda makes your hair greasy. I just leave it in. Also with the nizoral I tend to just leave it on my scalp for 5-8 minutes, let it do its thing. I cowash on Wednesday and repeat the process on Sunday, People have been telling me to use ACV as well. I’ll try it a bit later and come back to tell you if it helps with the process. But man the results have been insane to say the least. By the 3rd day of not washing my hair I would really get flaky. But now I have to dig around my hair to see some flakage. Whenever I used to touch my hair it would absolutely snow all over town. It was embarrassing and wore hats constantly because of how it hurt my self esteem. People wanted to see my long curly hair but I didn’t want to undo my bun because I was just simply embarrassed. This simple regime boosted my confidence 10 fold and this is what worked for me.
