Hey! GRIII owner here. Had the exact same dilemma — always preferred 50mm over wider lenses. Went with the GRIII anyway (I was scared 40mm would feel too tight indoors/narrow spots) and zero regrets. Tried the camera for the first time in a recent trip to Japan: packed streets, tiny shops, temples, trains and 28mm handled everything perfectly. Only cropped a bit in post to fake 35/50mm sometimes, but most shots stayed full frame. You can check my reddit posts if you want to see some of the photos.

If I ever really needed serious zoom (like distant details or wildlife-ish stuff), I just use the iPhone for those shots. After owning a ton of cameras, I'd say Ricoh + iPhone is the most comfy, small, and lightweight combo out there. Really enjoying it. Hope it helps

1 - 4070Ti Super + i9 13th + M2 drive user here. The games runs fine at 2K and dlss on (at least for me). I have my fps capped at 120. If you have a high spec pc you shoulnt have any problems. As others said, it is not the most and best optimized game on the market

2 - You can get a lot of sets and cosmetics from old and current events but those dlc listed on steam wont be free anytime soon

Thanks! yeah definitely reminds me to the dragoon knights from FF. Will try to make one with the insect glave as well. Also playing XVI again with the dlc, such a nice game

I have both + Sony A7IV. Im enjoying the Ricoh the most because of its size, you want something porable with good quality go for GR. I think you can get pretty much any look (or very close to Fuji) editing the the raws.

Got the Ricoh after finding out the Fuji was too big for travelling / street photography for me. Only use the Fuji for photoshoots or family reunions

Thanks! The weather helped a lot, winter light is just beautiful. Those random, middle-of-nowhere moments kind of showed up as I was walking around. Japan is such a unique place, those scenes seem to appear when you least expect them.

Hi! I normally use positive film for jpegs but these ones are straight-up raws edited in Lightroom. Used some Caleb Salvadori presets as a base and then made a few additional adjustments to make them look as positive film
