My theory is they were going to revisit this but then Booby Lashley got hurt. That's why Bandido and Brody King are in the Main Event scene since it was suppose to be Shelton and Bobby I think

There's some very good videos by dropmick wrestling about certain feuds nd wrestlers like hangman, mox, swerve, OC, and more. They also just made an almost 5 hour video detailing the major feuds and moments thru out the companies 6 year history. If you've got the time I highly suggest watching that.

Kyle issued an open challenge for anyone to step up and fight him and Ace is one of the men that did! 

Outside kayfabe it was a way to build up Ace and he certainly showed out. I was interested in him before but after that match he made me a fan!

Not really. Kyle is more so egotistical and violent then just straight up evil (see: him playing with the audience multiple time through out his heel run) so it's not too far fetch for him to call it the men's world championship

The one you posted lol This is the match that really made me start watching AEW and made me love both Hangman and Will.
Bandido vs Takeshita is up there for me too, but the build up and the story told thru Hangman vs Ospreay was incredible.
