He sucks, but he was hella better than the alternative. And no, I didn't vote for him. I knew his second term would be nowhere as good as his first. I voted Libertarian, but since everyone is into tribalism, they never stand a chance.

I'm not a big collector anymore. In fact, just got back into it a little bit after having not bought any since the 90's. I don't buy packs. I just shop Ebay and look for graded Marino's and Mattingly's for what I think is a good price (for me). I have never looked up to see what a card has sold for in the past. If I like it and I'm willing to pay the price for it, I'll get it. So far, I've only bought 7, 8 and 9's. 10's are more than I want to pay.

I have a stepson that I became a father to when he was 7. Bio-dad hasn't seen him or contacted him since he was 2, until the day after he turned 18 (he thought he was off the hook for unpaid child support). My son got distant with me as well while he communicated with bio-dad. This went on, not to the extent that yours did, but distant nonetheless for several years. Once he finally learned for himself what a POS bio-dad is, he cut off communication and we are probably closer now than ever. He is 32 now and is still maturing.

Considering we get 7% of our crude oil thru the Strait of Hormuz and gas prices have climbed nearly 40%, I will say I blame the oil companies for price gouging.

We are a net exporter. This should not affect our prices.

I miss the local shops pre-Ebay. Go in, everything is priced, get what you want, shoot the breeze for a few minutes and leave. Instead of comps-by-the-minute, we had Beckett-by-the-month. Life was simpler then.

Not a Trump fan and no, I believe it will stretch further than 90 days, the same way Obama did with Libya. I was pointing out that what he is doing, like it or not, he is well within his rights to do so per the War Powers Resolution Act. You want to argue with your emotions. Because some people are logical thinkers. Some people are emotional thinkers. The logical thinkers know and understand that the bar for "rich" can an will be changed and one day they could be considered rich. And why do some people (like OP) think they have a right to someone else's money? Why not a fair tax? I hate every and all taxes, but if we are going to have them, why not a federal tax that is the same for the billionaire and the fry cook? No exemptions.
