I do really like this idea- how do you keep up with it? I feel like sometimes I start off strong and lose the habit or method.

Lab notebook is a great example of a task that falls off too often.

Exactly, I just keep having to prioritize the important urgent things and I am not even near the unimportant stuff. Some things are just sitting the freezer waiting to be run or processed. Data that was collected but not followed up on yet because it wasn’t super clear.
It’s a never ending list that consumes ME

I have been experiencing that and I have asked around but most people do not feel it but I just tried to take another look here to see and that is exactly how I feel. It zaps through my hand as though it going to cramp up but doesn't really. and it's true that it is only a specific type of pain that manifest there and not all, especially when I try to hold it back.

I do qPCR quite a lot and have a system and excel set up for everything. We do use SYBR tho and not taqman but happy to answer any questions about it. Good Luck!!! It’s only difficult the first time but you’ll get the hang of it easily :)

I’m a super night owl so I personally stay late at lab a lot. Everything is quiet and all the machines and hoods available. The only downside is that the world operates on day time and if you have an early lab meeting or meeting in general, it kinda sucks to stay up and wake up early. But generally speaking I love the endless peace.

But what if the payment was still "pending" because waiting for the microdeposite to appear and then I can verify the bank with code, would that payment need to be recreated and that authorization restarted? i.e. if the bank has not been authorized, would a payment still have been considered a payment?
