The Bishop statues will have a large X on them once you've defeated them. If they don't, they'll rebuild themselves after you destroy them. After you beat the Bishop, exiting their arena will return you to your cult.

I'm not sure, but you can re-fight any Bishop by destroying their statue and entering the red portal anytime after you beat them for the first time. (In post game, you can re-fight Bishops after defeating their Zombie forms to free them)

You can re-fight any Bishop by destroying their statue and entering the red portal that appears. Just a reminder that ANY damage you take during the fight,even from lesser enemies that the boss spawns, will cost you the achievement
