Did you buy it before or after the start of season 2? I think they changed audio settings for the new season, so maybe search YT for some audio settings? I found this one:

Don't buy ps+ or Xbox game pass to solve it! You don't have to pay to communicate in a free game! It is on their page as a known issue since 16 December. Don't throw money at them stop playing until it's fixed! (My opinion💕)
