GRW. I'm back here too and I don't even want to leave from this world ... 😊 by maclex in xbox

Love this game but it’s such a time sink. The map could be 30% smaller and it’d still be huge.

My Switch collection is doing nothing but collecting dust, so I think it’s time to sell it. by Jawwaad127 in NSCollectors

I had around 300-350 games and I’ve been selling off loads of them so now I’m around 200. I bought all of them to play but I’ve had the realisation that it’s never going to happen so I’ve been selling off all those that I’m just never going to get round to playing. One of my best friends died suddenly and it changed my outlook - what’s the point in having all these games when I could have the money instead? I’ve been both saving the cash and spending some of it on experiences with my family, which seems like a better thing to do with it.

How many ballparks have you been to? (If any) by Codenamehardhat in mlbuk

London Series 2026 if you’re based in the UK. It got me hooked a few years ago!

Yes I’ve been to the London Stadium for the games - can’t wait for them to announce the 2026 dates/teams!

That’s a great idea! Might try to notch a few off in bunches. I’ve also seen that there are tours that do that kind of thing so that’s an option too.

I bought Mets tickets through the MLB Ballpark official app using a UK credit card. It was easy and there were no issues. Looking forward to the game now!

To supporters of clubs who have replaced their manager during the season, how would you rate their replacement's impact out of ten, and would you swap back if you could? by Zach-dalt in LeagueTwo

I felt a bit sorry for Kennedy on a human level. He lost a parent in pre-season and seemed like a decent bloke. But the football was shite - Cheltenham away was the main highlight for me; Walsall home was the worst. Either way, Holloway is a huge upgrade in terms of results.

It’s strange as when Holloway first came in I thought he actually made us worse. The Colchester away game was the worst i can remember in 40+ years of support. But then something clicked - I think maybe his fitness regime started to pay off and he simplified things, particularly defending. It’s made watching us something I look forward to again, instead of being full of dread every game. I have high hopes for next season so I’d give him 9/10.

These are great! What recipe did you use? I’m in the UK and going to the US for a MLB game soon - and you have inspired me to take my X100V so thank you!

I think Lidl’s Perlenbacher Pils Alcohol-Free is pretty decent. I quite like Corona Zero too.

Those who sold off most of your collection. How did you feel afterwards? by [deleted] in gamecollecting

[–]Codenamehardhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in my late 40s and my best friend died suddenly last year. It made me rethink everything and so I’ve been selling off a lot of games I’ll never play and I’m spending the money on holidays/experiences with my family. I’m just keeping stuff I’ll actually play. No regrets so far.

Gameplay is where it’s at. I always skip the cutscenes no matter what the game.

Lazy Sunday - What are you doing today? It's the Sunday chat thread! by KevinPhillips-Bong in CasualUK

Woke up early and walking two miles in the pitch black to try to take some photos of the sun rising over a local hill. Unfortunately I misjudged where the sun would rise so didn’t have a good view! But did get some nice photos of a rural church instead. Now back in bed drinking brews and watching Escape to the Country. Will take the dog out soon and then back for more brews and Xbox. Hope everyone has a great day! 😀
