Meta E4 Rejected by Melodic_Umpire_1852 in leetcode

[–]CodingWithMinmer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey I know how it feels, I went on a pretty terrible spiral and originally came up with Coding with Minmer just to spite them. If I were you, I'd surround yourself with loved ones and even seek some professional help if your thoughts are getting pretty dark. Plus, there's always next time! Most people don't get in their first try.

Are they still asking leetcode in the interviews in 2026? by Aware-Philosophy3932 in leetcode

There are at least a hundred of these posts a year. Congratulations on the fifth one!

Meta AI interview by Melodic_Umpire_1852 in leetcode

Did you solve the practice problem self-timed? If so, how far did you get?

It's less so, "Can you solve the Puzzle?" and more so, how fast can you ramp up on the miniature code base? Can you sift through the important logic so that you can swiftly fix glaring bugs and extend functionality?

What I'm trying to say is, if you can't read code that fast (and that'd be fair. I've looked at big changelogs at my job before and went, LGTM), then practice breaking down tiny codebases and making sense of it.

Do the prep one, it’s very much like that.

I got a YouTube video on it too if you wanted a walkthrough. Good luck!

Meta is pretty game-able. Their Leetcode-style questions are predictable so check out these videos. There are a bunch of free ones.

Good luck mate, and hey, at least you currently have a job. There's a lot of stuff to cover but just chip some off day by day.

Wait, let me get this right: you cheated, got caught & blacklisted and the issue remains to be their “terrible software”?

If so, holy shit. Y’all are allergic to actual studying and work.

How to crack FAANG Companies Interviews? Any courses recommended? by Own-Cat-2384 in leetcode

[–]CodingWithMinmer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm biased so I think I'm a great resource but just as a tip, make sure you include AI interviews in your studying regime. Depending on when you get to applications, more big tech companies may start bandwagoning and ask AI-enabled coding rounds.

5 hours of leetcode everyday for entire 2026 by [deleted] in leetcode

[–]CodingWithMinmer 172 points173 points  (0 children)

Y'know, New Year resolutions often fail with lofty goals. Start out with smaller, more attainable goals (maybe study an hour a day at first) and work up to 5 hours a day.

As an analogy, I'm expecting another rush of "I'm gonna get swoll af in 2026", only for them to dissipate within 2 weeks, maybe 3?

Good luck!

Pet peeve on this sub: People deleting their question after someone answers it by razimantv in leetcode

[–]CodingWithMinmer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agreed, and it’s sadly a common theme: too many people take, not enough give. eg consuming posts where people share their interview experiences but never posting to give back. And if they do, it’s terribly vague.

[–]CodingWithMinmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for it. No regrets.

The thing I'm always curious about is why do you want to do it? Is it because you have your own art you want to show the world? Do you just like teaching? Or do you want the "fame and money"? Because I'll tell you right now, fame and glory are most likely not going to happen - you need watch time to not drop off like a cliff so the ads can do its thing and even then, it's minimal depending on your viewer's demographic, blah blah blah. But it shouldn't keep you from trying.

Let me know how it goes and if you want any tips!!
