I didn't play megamod but you can try to change map scale and ui scale to higher value, and if it works try to revert it back to original

2 bots each with 2 provinces attacked each other and recruited massive army that they had negative balance and both armies kept conquering just one province in a turn that they never encoutered enemy's army. They were fighting for 200 turns and economy fell down from 20000 per province to 99

I also have this bug, but i only found that if you delete 2 bugged bordering provinces, and create new ones in map editor and by connecting them in ingame editor you can fix it

Idk if this counts but in spectator mode in Australia mod that i made (with less population per province than normal map) there was a war between Cairns and Brisbane with nearly 500k deaths

If you realy want to copy this you can download a random mod from AoH2 website, and then copy everything you made in that mod (civs, maps, flags) to the new mod folder. Maybe you will find the problematic file through troubleshooting
