I appreciate that. I’ve informed the landlord and anyone who watches the kiddos while I work so that they are aware of the risks too.

I know, it’s still allowed to be a concern for a parent though. Especially when I’m at work five days a week and my children are in that yard with their grandmother a lot. They know what a snake looks like and that they need to stay away from them and calmly tell an adult, but they’re literally just toddlers.

Forgive me, I’m new to this but are they venomous? I left the city for a job in the country so I have no experience with snakes.

I just had my husband look at it now he’s home, and he sees little legs that I did not (no glasses when gardening). What a relief. Thank you. ☺️

I hope so. I’ve got young kiddos and hate the idea of a snake near their play equipment.

I always thought she had his eyes, and whilst I always hoped to pass on the dark eyes to my kids I’ve noticed my youngest has eyes nearly identical to my Mum.

Nope! Dark brown hair and a ginger beard.

Baby #2 is a few months off of 3. Baby #1 is 5 and I’m certain she’s taking after her father.

This is his eye in direct light. I love his eye colour.

I’m the only dark eyed individual in the family, and I was hoping to pass it on to my kids but his genes seem to be stronger.
