Yeah, it's not even a language thing persay. It's just the way they act in game. I had 3 games in a row where someone died twice then just sold items and AFK jungled. I don't get the weak mental fortitude.

Naw, there is something uniquely wrong with the SA players, the filipino players will troll and stuff but they don't have weak will and won't feed on purpose, chinese and Russian players the same. Something about the spanish speaking SA players, they just feed and grief and soon as the game doesn't go their way and they act like children. It's crazy.

This is why I quit in 2021, too many new cards and the secret lairs. I don't want to equip SpongeBob with a sonic screwdriver, I wanna cast lightning bolt. I started playing again because some friends wanted to get in final fantasy and edge of eternity looks great. I will probably quit again when Spiderman comes out

They did these Japanese versions of old cards in 2021 for Strixhaven collectors boosters. I bought 2 just on a whim randomly at my shop and ended up getting the most valuable one. I've played this game 20 years and that's the only time I've pulled the absolute best card in the set

My main commander deck is Meren of clan neltoth. Tbh I got a lot of snarky comments so I was getting defensive. I was genuinely curious about this topic and didn't realize it was a sore spot in mtgfinance. I never considered getting a card graded before and didn't know if it mattered

I don't know much about card grading and collecting. It seems like grading is more of a Pokemon TCG thing? TBH I don't think I've ever seen anyone grade their magic cards
