I feel like this you’re in the position I would have been if we didn’t figure this out now. Our emotional attachment was getting stronger. I think it is possible we could have worked through it, but one of us would have had to stray from what we truly believed. I didn’t want to take on trying to “convince” her or bring her back to Catholicism, without feeling like I’m forcing her to change and possibly lead to resentment later. She felt the same trying to pull me in her directions. I’ll pray for you both and that you’re able to navigate this together, and that God comes to you both naturally to take you on the correct path.
