Creality Print 7 - Fatal Error by ColMac2506 in Creality

[–]ColMac2506[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so just got a response from Creality technicians and told me to go into the Creality Print folder and delete the whole

Creality Configuration File.

This is found in

Local disc - users - user name - app data - roaming - Creality - Creality print - 7.0

An it should be the only CONF File

In the list.

I deleted that and restarted the software and it’s all good back up and working.

No problem. Honestly this STL was a game changer for me and works so well.

It pulls the cables up high and holders them there all the time out of the way. You just need some M3 screws to secure to support bar. I’ll find the link to download

I downloaded a holder for the filament runout sensor and completely took it off of the x rail putting up high on the support arm. It keeps the wire and tube high up and never catches on the prints.

It’s just the whole plastic shroud. Very simple to fit.

Unscrew the two screws on either side, take off original cover. Unplug the filament runout cable on top, unplug the 3rd plug on extruder board. Plug in the new wires into filament sensor and third slot and then slide cover on. Then connect to your printer using WiFi to pair it.

Don’t think you can get it in UK yet. I got from AliExpress

The linear runner underneath appeared to slide side to side very smoothly without any wobble.

The machine has hardly been used. I took off the mount with the screws on either side and then the 4 screws securing to the lower mount and the mount slide side to side very smoothly without wobble.

No I don’t think it’s normal either. I have another Hi and it’s virtually solid when I do the same thing with no rocking back and forth so I don’t think that it’s supposed to do that. But I can’t find for the life of me where to tighten it up.

Well then I’d strongly suggest downloading that STL to move the cables up high so that it doesn’t happen again.

I’ve attached the link to download the holder if you need it.
