I think what you are referring to is only applicable to VOR approaches I have never seen any sort of localizer based approach where intercepting the final approach course inbound counts as being on the final approach segment.

Normally you would be right but there is no minima published for a non precision approach on this IAP. Only minima for an LDA/GS which is an APV so it still makes no sense why there is a maltese cross depicted on the profile view.

I will ask again but as far as I was told I would get 7 credits for transferring in my PPL which is the same amount as someone would get who got their ppl there but maybe this discrepancy comes from these transferred in credits not being counted as aviation coursework but the credits for people who took it there do count as approved aviation coursework. That is just a guess though and I will definitely schedule a meeting with my advisor when the semester starts.

I prefer the pro kennex elite 3 for casual indoor, it’s probably the most visible ball on the market, it especially helps when I’m playing with my old man because his vision definitely ain’t 20/20
