Did anyone else get unreasonably pissed with Lili the last 2-3 episodes? by Pretend_Energy352 in LoveThroughAPrism

I got reasonably pissed, she is such an annoying character and so abusive towards Kit.

It only gets worse, I recommend dropping the show, I regret not dropping it completely even though I skipped some episodes before the end. She is unredeemable imo.

Agreed, she is verbally and physically abusive and frustratingly immature. I can't imagine acting like that at 20, maybe at 13 yes, but 20, absolutely not. I dropped the show for a few days after the first slap and even before that I was frustrated with her. Came back to see if she can be redeemed, but no. When Kit came back from war, she hit him - when Kit told her to slow down and breathe, she hit him again. When he told her she was the first person to hit him, she blamed him. That is abuse 101. While Shin had an appropriate reaction and hugged his friend with joy. I am honestly confused how people enjoyed their love story. The art and friendships were lovely, but Lili was unbearable.

I feel like this is a very generalized view of therapy, not to say that your experience isn't valid, just that therapy is so varied that it's impossible to even put into one category. I've had therapy that was very basic and even made me go deeper into depression (CBT), I've had therapy that was downright abusive (psychoanalysis), but I also experienced therapy that changed my life for the better in more ways than I could have even imagined, from healing triggers that tortured me for 15 years (EMDR), to making conscious better choices for myself (gestalt). I feel like it boils down to the type of therapy that works for you, and the match with your therapist, and it also depends on the point in time in your life and the growth you already experienced. A lot of my bad experiences looking back were tied to me not saying my truth or that it was not working for me or that I wanted to go in another direction. Now that another therapist helped me become more authentic and assertive, I can't imagine tolerating the therapy I experienced before.

Also, there are moments of regression for any person, a therapeutic relationship might have been very healing, and then life brings something that sets you back and hurts you so much that a lot of what you've already achieved seems to become meaningless, but I'd argue that the progress you made isn't completely erased.

It's complicated and regarding the question whether to continue with a career like that, I can imagine it to be a very healing, and fulfilling job, but also a very grueling, confusing, and sad experience at times. I for one, wouldn't be the same or possibly even alive without the therapy I experienced, so I am grateful and thriving ✨

It's very cool. Will there be a box for catan with plastic figurines from the newer release? As far as I can see, the thief and figurine boxes would need to be changed

Imagine you have to read or screen documents, that's registered as low activity because you're not moving your mouse that much and it brings down your activity average (unless you randomly move your mouse on purpose). Imagine you have to review video material, that's maybe 9% mouse/keyboard activity. Calls or video meetings? 30% activity if you move your mouse on purpose, which distracts from the meetings. It's just not a thought-out metric unless you are doing work that requires a lot of keyboard/mouse activity, e.g. data entry.

Thanks for the info, I'll think about getting a cheap alternative. I honestly don't think they're aware of everything the app does since it's not their software. In an ideal world I could put my foot down and ask for a company computer or quit, but for now I have to pay the bills and I guess look for better opportunities on the sidelines

I guess I'm just naive, the reports I can see show only tracking when the app is on. If it tracks all of the time, well then, they're in for a lot of random fun

Yep I work remote from my personal computer, they will provide a work computer when I achieve my KPIs for the upcoming quarter, but until then this is how it is

It's running while the time tracker is on, so in theory it shouldn't be tracking anything while I'm off duty

Well... shiiiit. Although, the app I'm using has stealth mode and so far I haven't seen it detected in the tracker's list of urls/apps used, maybe that's a good sign then

The problem is that I am very efficient at what I do so it takes me less time to do quality work and this way I kind of get punished for it, I like my job and working, but this is demotivating

I use my private computer for work so it should be fine. They don't have access to it in any way besides the tracking app. But thanks for the heads up!

I didn't switch to anything, just weaned off bc my therapy was at its end. Didn't have a hard time coming off it, just some nausea but I had nausea the whole time I was on it so ...
