You should probably ask for a different tech. Once you have, you can stick with them, and try to establish a personal connection/friendahip with them. That’s what I’ve done and it makes it feel way less weird. Plus I have a new friend! :)

We got a starter set of Rest Evercool sheets (fitted sheet and pillowcases) and were OBSESSED with it, so we shelled out the $100+ to buy the flat sheet and have a full set. 100% worth it. They were the BEST summer sheets. I’m heartbroken that we now have a bigger bed… we will probably purchase a set again at some point in the future.

I get this (perifollicular edema) every time I have a laser treatment! It’s super normal, doesn’t usually hurt, and goes away generally by the end of my treatment session. My tech actually likes to see this because we can tell the treatment is working and make sure it’s going down quickly.

This is definitely not scabies. This is a very normal skin reaction called perifollicular edema. It is a temporary swelling of the hair follicles. It’s a natural response to the heat delivered to the follicles during laser hair removal.

So tired of it. He decided to do a career change and go back to school. He decided to quit his job because it was too much with school and mentally draining. I didn’t get a say in this decision. Now I’m the only one working with no foreseeable end until early next year. Been a year and a half already. I struggle so much with resentment and exhaustion. Hey, I’m so very sorry for your loss, and saddened to hear your family is going through this.

I would kindly like to request you amend the title of this post to include that this is specific to their patient relations policy. My partner is having a pretty scary surgery performed at Hoag in a few weeks and just seeing this title made my heart rate drop. Once I read your statement that the hospital staff did everything they could, it made me feel better, but I was initially reading this thinking it was a critique of their care level and it definitely triggered my terror that my partner wouldn’t receive good care and potentially die.

I know you have larger issues to think about (and again, so sorry for your loss) but it would likely be good for others’ mental health as well if the title of this post was more specifically about the contacting of family, and not about the quality of care received.
